The Superdisc Ultra was introduced in response to the many fans of the Superdisc for a larger, heavier version. The original Aerobie Superdisc with its patented spoiler rim design was introduced in 1995 and quickly became a favourite due to it's stability and accuracy in flight. The Superdisc Ultra has a soft rubber edge that has many benefits. It provides a great grip for strong throws, it is soft to catch, and it does not develop sharp scratches like a conventional disc when it hits pavement.

Like all Aerobie discs (and unlike Aerobie rings), the Superdisc Ultra floats. It is made in an assortment of colours (yellow, red, blue, and purple) and is recommended for children 10 years old and up.
